Organized by the Colorado Pollinator Network (CPN), this milestone year highlights a decade of gathering Colorado’s pollinator champions! PPAN is proud to be a part of the enduring collaboration and commitment to pollinator protection as a founder and driving partner of CPN.

What Is the Colorado Pollinator Summit?
Each year, the Summit welcomes a vibrant community of researchers, land managers, conservation organizations, educators, growers, policy makers, and community members — all united by the mission of protecting and enhancing pollinator health across Colorado’s landscapes.
The 2025 Summit’s theme is “Empowered for Pollinators,” in which we will:
Connect researchers and practitioners to propose solutions for the challenges facing Colorado’s pollinators;
Envision the next 10 years of progress for pollinator conservation;
Explore how our state can leverage recent successes to do more for pollinator conservation.
We are honored to welcome Dr. Samuel Ramsey—leader of the Boulder Bee Lab as the Endowed Assistant Professor of Entomology at the BioFrontiers Institute at CU Boulder—and Dr. Jonathan Lundgren—agroecologist, Director of ECDYSIS Foundation, and CEO of Blue Dasher Farm, as our keynote speakers on Thursday and Friday, respectively. Dr. Nick Haddad, co-lead of the Long Term Ecological Research site at Kellogg Biological Station of Michigan State University and author of The Last Butterflies: A Scientist’s Quest to Save a Rare and Vanishing Creature, will provide our closing keynote address.
In addition to the main Summit, the event is expanding its reach by offering a free Youth Pollinator Summit on November 15 — a chance for students to connect with pollinator experts and ignite new passion in conservation work.
